About
I build systems that put large models to work on real infrastructure. That lands in three places: agent loops that can safely take actions, inference on hardware that has no business running it, and vision pipelines that have to hold up outside a demo.
Career
Dual degrees in computer science and finance from USC.
Consulting at Capgemini first, where I built and presented five Azure OpenAI retrieval-augmented generation proofs of concept to enterprise clients. Then Cachengo, where I joined as a software engineer and was promoted to lead software integration on edge inference two months in. That meant YOLO computer vision pipelines running on ARM edge hardware, built against a target of 100,000+ cameras. Getting a model to run at all is the easy part. Getting it to run inside the thermal and memory budget of a board that costs less than the camera it is attached to is the actual work.
From July to September 2026 I contracted as an AI engineer on a production agent platform. Node and TypeScript, tools exposed over MCP, delegated per-user auth, and the confirmation gating that has to exist before an agent gets write access to anything real.
What I work on
Edge AI hardware. RK3588 and RKNN, Qualcomm Hexagon and QNN. Quantization, runtime conversion, and the gap between a benchmark number and what a board does in a hot enclosure.
Multi-agent systems. LangGraph and CrewAI, and loops I own outright on the Anthropic SDK. I reach for the framework less than I used to.
Computer vision. Detection and pose pipelines, plus the plumbing around them that decides whether they turn out to be useful.
Writing
I write essays on AI, philosophy of mind, and cognition. They are collected on the writing page.
Away from the desk
I volunteer as a strength coach for a baseball program. I hold a state deadlift record and competed at collegiate powerlifting nationals in 2019. I have run ultramarathons and competed in BJJ.
None of that is a metaphor for how I work. It is just what I do with my time, and it is the reason I ended up building a sprint biomechanics platform.
